Hi Danny, I put a few tips/resources on the YT page of this podcast.

1. Find another energy source besides solar.
2. Investigate Agroforestry for growing food etc. It originates from Brazil, so there will be some mexican ones you work closely with.
3. Re chickens, compost as there food source, so learn how to do this. Look up Geoff Lawton Permaculture. He has a project called Greening the Dessert in Jordan and they used chickens a lot.

Second this! Agroecology and edible food forests are awesome. There’s something cool called sandponics that may be of interest to look into to
