What about constipation with milk, these not much talk with slow transit and the changes in stool formation with milk/ lactose, if one has a full bowel movement with a soft, easy to pass, "like a sausage or snake shape" (referring to britsol chart) before they drink milk and then add it to their diet and the formation of poo changes to nuggets, then surely the milk or whatever else in it, is inflammatory to the digestive tract? Wheather its the lactose, whey, casien (A1 and or A2) I dont know. Pasturised/homogenised or raw has the same outcome
I think the milk might be diluting the already low stomach acid in that situation, usually from hypothyroidism.
“The gastrointestinal tract is particularly sensitive to general stress. Loss of appetite is one of the first symptoms in the great “syndrome of just being sick,” and this may be accompanied by vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation.” – Hans Selye (The Stress of Life)
“In hypothyroidism, digestion in the stomach and intestines is delayed. The concentration of acid and enzymes involved in digestion may be diminished. Motility of the gut is reduced and food is propelled more slowly along the tract. Absorption through the intestinal wall is slower.” - Broda Barnes, MD, PhD
Thanks for this Danny, Ray's legacy is preserved and bolstered by your posts

So more salt is likely needed to build higher stomach acid?
Would you lay of milk for the time being, or just decrease it and add salt to everything? And or perhaps to the milk?
That might help.
Any other suggestions?
Besides investigating your thyroid function, B1, aspirin, and the food intestinal disinfectants might help increase stomach acid.
Thx, would B1 100mg from a B-complex be good enough?
I've the exact same problem Sam, did you end up trying B1 and adding more salt?
Ive given up on milk, it does more harm than good, it doesn't work for me
Great post!
2 weeks of ≈60mg Penicillin cured my lactose intolerance/diarrhea 👍
